Constipation, Diarrhea, and Irritable Bowel Syndrome

The following fixes for Constipation are so effective, they will lead to diarrhea.

The Medical Establishment would have you believe that if you have both constipation and diarrhea, then you have a disease that they call irritable bowel syndrome. Forgive me for my skepticism and failure to believe this, when in my experience, it is so easy to fix either of these conditions.

To fix constipation:

  1. More water.
  2. Take magnesium, potassium, copper, and B Vitamins.
  3. Eat fiber. Oranges are an especially good fruit for fixing constipation. Prunes are also known to work. Also, cherries and cherry juice.
  4. Eat good fats.
  5. Eat good proteins like beef.
  6. Consume less white flour and less carbohydrates like white rice, breads, etc.

The following are less well recommended, but they work.

  1. Cayenne herb. This also causes a painful sensation of burning heat.
  2. Senna Herb.
  3. Consume Vitamin C, 1000 mg per hour, to “bowel tolerance” or until diarrhea starts, usually somewhere between 3000 mg to 10,000 mg.
  4. A “sodium flush”; (not recommended because excess sodium is toxic), but a sodium flush can get bowel movements going. A teaspoon or two of salt in several glasses of water should get things moving. This has the drawback of causing constipation again later.

The following are not recommended:

  1. Any prescription medications.

To fix diarrhea.

  1. Eat more carbs, especially rice.
  2. Eat more fiber.
  3. Consume less hot peppers like cayenne or jalapeno peppers.
  4. Avoid food allergies, such as to boiled eggs.

The reason why magnesium, copper, and B Vitamins work so well is that they are all required to make ATP. ATP is needed for energy for things like intestinal contractions and bowel movements.
For more on this, and other things that increase ATP:

Fiber works because it can make the stool softer. It can stop working if excessive fiber is used over a long period of time without mineral supplementation, which can cause mineral losses, and then harder stools. Minerals also help because they help attract water into the stool, which softens it.

Carbs also bind to minerals making them less bioavailable for things like attracting water to the stool.

Since fiber and water, combined, each attracts water to the stool, this is why water is listed first, as the primary cure for constipation.

Fats can be a digestive aid, because they stimulate the release of bile, which is another digestive aid.
