The protocol consists of about 20 over-the-counter vitamins and minerals, all available at amazon.com, and excludes about 30 popular supplements, vitamins, and minerals that are either plentiful, counterproductive, or harmful, or a combination of all three.
The Protocol was built around the twin ideas of toxic synergy and synergistic benefits of doing many good things.
One of the most shocking findings in all of toxicity is this concept of toxic synergy. It is particularly damaging when combining sub-lethal levels of mercury and aluminum. Researchers who give rats an amount of mercury that kills 1 in 1000 rats, and also the amount of aluminum that kills 1 in 100 rats, end up killing all the rats.
The implication is that this also works in humans; that sub-lethal doses, when combined with doses of other toxins, are far more harmful than previously thought.
Furthermore, to make matters worse, babies are born with up to 200 known toxins within their bodies. It is unknown exactly how damaging this toxic soup is, but clearly, it can’t be good, and our modern society in America is seeing a record number of chronic illnesses.
It’s now so bad that 75% of young men cannot qualify for military service, despite them lowering the standards. The poisoning of America, and this synergistic toxicity, and the poor health that results from that, is now a top-level national security issue. It’s a national emergency. But our leaders and society do not know how to fix it.
We have the best solution available by far, because we use the concept of synergy to do many positive things for our health simultaneously. It’s not extremely easy, but we feel these things are both optimal and necessary for human health, and we have determined optimal levels by looking at the science, personal experimentation, and feedback from thousands of member testimonies.
In short, we are healing nearly everything with our protocol, and please allow me to explain why and how it works.
Nearly everyone is exposed to some levels of mercury. It’s in fillings in teeth, it’s released into the atmosphere from burning coal for electricity, and it’s in fluorescent lightbulbs, tuna fish, mercury thermometers, used in thermostats and cars, and many other sources. And testing does not always work, since the body tightly binds mercury, and no mercury might be excreted in hair, even though it’s in the body. And there is no need to test for mercury in the body, we should just rightly assume that mercury toxicity is a problem for everyone.
Similarly, nearly everyone is exposed to some levels of aluminum. If other ages were called the Stone Age, Bronze Age, and Iron Age, ours is the age of aluminum, oil, and plastics.
And finally, there are the hundreds of toxic chemicals. Including lead, fluoride, and all the rest. Unless we are detoxifying all the hundreds of toxins, we are not solving the problem.
We can’t work to pass legislation because that can take a lifetime. And we can’t avoid everything when one toxin can be reported to be in over 4000 different consumer products, which is often the case. Toxins are in our carpets, furniture, clothing, food, air, water, and so on.
So we must continually detox all of it out of our bodies, and that’s the easiest solution. Still not easy. But it’s the easiest solution.
Unfortunately, traditional methods of detox don’t work very well. Chemical chelation is not FDA-approved, and for good reason. Chemicals like EDTA deplete vital minerals like copper and zinc, causing copper and zinc deficiencies and worsening health problems.
By doing my homework, by reading the ignored scientific literature, by making lists, we have discovered that many different minerals are described as “cure-alls” by researchers who advocate them.
Obviously, if you take many cure-alls at once, they are more likely to work better together than alone, and we discovered this, too, especially with copper and zinc.
Taking copper and zinc, each one alone, results in the same thing: increased production of metallothioneins in the body. These are a family of enzymes that are known to bind to and remove mercury, cadmium, lead, and arsenic. They do it very well. These enzymes so tightly wrap around those toxins that they can’t even be digested, so they carry out the toxins harmlessly.
Like other chelators, they also remove zinc and copper, as they are copper and zinc-containing enzymes.
In other words, if you take copper and increase metallothionein production, you can deplete zinc. And if you take zinc, you can deplete copper through the same process, making more MT’s (metallothioneins). But this is almost always when a person supplements only one to excess, either copper or zinc, and not the other. It’s extremely rare to take only copper and no zinc, so that rarely happens.
The solution is obvious. Take both copper and zinc. For more details on proper ratios:
Many people understand things by way of rumor or by way of simplifying concepts too much. They think that if you take copper, it blocks zinc, and if you take zinc that it blocks copper. So they think, or have read, you can’t take them together at the same time.
It does not work like that whatsoever. Of course we can take them at the same time. Or also, in the same day.
Metallothioneins, because they excrete copper and zinc, prove that neither copper nor zinc can build up, and so neither one becomes toxic. The more we take, the more MT’s we make and the more we excrete. It works like this: If we take 10 mg of copper per day for a month, the body begins to excrete all the copper that comes in. For a few days, the body will excrete 110% of intake, and then it settles back to excreting about 90% of intake. So if you take 10 mg of copper, and excrete 9 mg, you are really only getting 1 mg of copper per day. Interestingly enough, that’s really close to the RDA of 0.9 mg of copper per day.
This also means we don’t need to test for copper levels in the body. It does not build up. And we are not taking copper to restore levels. We are taking copper to get it to flow through the body, which gets the body tuned up to make more copper-containing enzymes, which excrete more toxins.
We get far more benefits by taking 30 mg of copper. Why? We have 2600 mg of fluoride in the body, on average. We also have about 100 mg of bromine. And 70 mg of lead. To get those toxins out requires enough copper to do the job. I took 3-9 mg of copper for a few years, and it was not enough to heal dead nerves. When I started taking 30 mg of copper, my dead nerves came back to life, and I got a massive layer of extraordinary benefits, such as vastly more energy, an easier time building muscle, less muscle soreness, healthier skin, and my brain started working better, too. My testimony from taking more copper goes on for 10 pages in my book!
Of course, before taking 30 mg of copper, I intensely reviewed the claims and concepts of copper toxicity. It turns out, they have a flawed and untested model. They correlate high ionic copper in the blood with diseases and falsely assume copper is toxic. But correlation cannot be used to prove causation. They have not even correlated high copper intake with high copper in the blood, their research is that bad!
But the body stops making copper-containing enzymes in copper deficiency, because it cannot afford to lose or excrete any copper, and this makes ionic copper more bioavailable for nerves to use it to make ATP, despite the claims that ionic copper is not bioavailable, they are simply wrong. Ionic copper can easily flow into the nerves through the sodium potassium pump, and it also acts as both an electrolyte and neurotransmitter in ionic form. Copper restores the myelin sheath around the nerves and heals the nerves from 20-200 different ways. It does not cause nerve damage, as some in the establishment claim, because nobody is accidentally exposed to toxic levels of copper.
We are specifically taking excess copper to flush copper out of the body by way of making more copper-containing enzymes more than just the MT’s, and in so doing, the body flushes out toxins.
It turns out there are many enzymes that contain both copper and zinc, and that require both copper and zinc to function, as follows: superoxide dismutase, or SOD, and diamine oxidase, or DAO, and others.
DAO is one of the strongest natural antihistamines in the body. So people heal from allergies and autoimmune disorders on our protocol.
There is both a SOD1, SOD2 and SOD3. SOD2 requires manganese, also on our protocol. SOD detoxes hundreds of plastic and petrochemical toxins, and has strong anticancer properties. More enzymes may not contain both copper and zinc, but require both copper and zinc to be made.
As an aside, I am not claiming that copper and zinc cure cancer. How can they in all cases, that’s impossible. Often people with stage 4 cancer with weeks left to live have excessively poisoned their bodies beyond repair, and take toxic and deadly levels of morphine and cortisol for “end of life” care. You cannot simultaneously detox while taking lethal levels of toxins, and expect copper to heal you.
Cancer, of course, is known to be caused by carcinogens, by definition, many of which are simply toxins. Some are in a different class, such as radiation. Radiation damage, like other tissue damage, is also fixed with copper.
I feel it is important to note, however, that people complain about an entire range of detoxing symptoms on our protocol, but nobody on our protocol has ever complained about getting cancer, which is a form of silence that speaks at the volume of a deafening roar. Normal rates of cancer would suggest that several people per day in our group would complain of getting cancer in the normal course of events, given background rates of cancer.
Of course, copper alone cannot possibly cure cancer. Alone, it depletes zinc. But copper has some anti-cancer properties. So does zinc. So do many other minerals, but they all work together.
Getting back to the synergy of copper and zinc. Collagen (not an enzyme, but rather a protein) is about 35% of bone, and about 30% of the body, and collagen requires both copper and zinc to be made. They are also needed to make elastin.
Both copper and zinc are known to “speed up wound healing.” Of course they are. If you are healing a wound, your body needs to make collagen. Vitamin C also helps us make collagen, along with silica, sulfur, and other co-nutrients on our protocol.
Copper does many essential things; perhaps the most important is making a copper containing enzyme called cytochrome C oxidase, which is used in the mitochondria to make ATP. Without ATP for energy, cells die, and we die. With more abundant energy, the body can heal and recover from sickness, toxicity, injuries, and workouts. This is universal and applies to all humans who breathe oxygen, which is all humans, so there is no possible way that anyone could have a genetic defect that causes copper toxicity, despite any claims made by others. They are simply wrong. Copper is essential, not optional, for life.
To make ATP, we really need at least 5 things: Copper, magnesium, the right B Vitamins, food, and oxygen. We realize that magnesium and the right B Vitamins, along with zinc, are necessary co-factors for optimal health. We have seen this confirmed in our forum in people who start our protocol, but don’t follow it all the way. People who try to cut corners and only take copper and zinc and Vitamin C (the start of the protocol) end up with low energy after about 2 months, because they neglect to take magnesium and B Vitamins. When they complain, learn of the solution, then take them, they get their energy back and are on their way towards good health again, which we have seen many times.
Other co-nutrients help make ATP, (Adenosine Tri-Phosphate = ATP), but they are not as essential because they are either more abundant or are made by the body. These are phosphate (abundant), creatine, which helps to recycle phosphate, CoQ10 (made by the body), and others.
Our protocol fixes the low-energy problem and low ATP problem so successfully that we rediscovered that sodium is mostly a toxin. This is shocking news, because many in the alternative health world view sodium as a vital supplement, and the mainstream science has been telling us all that excess sodium is toxic for well over 50 years, and suddenly we are on the side of the mainstream? Make it make sense, right?
Well, it turns out that a nerve cell uses about 75% of its ATP on the sodium potassium pump, which is constantly pumping sodium out of the cell, and potassium into the cell.
When this pump finally gets the energy that it needs, you can guess what happens. The sodium goes out of the cell, and concentrates out of the cell. This causes problems known as “high sodium” such as edema or swelling of the tissues, or racing heart problems, muscle cramping, diarrhea, or about 30-50 other problems caused by high sodium. The solution is to drink more water to flush out the sodium through the urine, to consume less sodium, and to consume more potassium. I’ve written about 15 articles on this subject.
It can take a few months to complete this process. Once again, it’s universal to all people, particularly Americans who eat foods that are typically high in sodium. It’s not a quick process and things don’t get fixed in the first day or two. Usually the first 3-4 days are the worst, but it can take a few months to shift towards being high in potassium, and lower in sodium. The reason why it takes so long, and is not easy, is that the average person has about 100 grams too little potassium in the body, and excess sodium constantly flushes out potassium.
It can take about a month to adapt up to taking 3-4 grams of potassium per day. It takes another month to then get at least 100 grams of potassium into the body. It takes another month because in most of that first month the body is still excreting the potassium to excess because of the sodium. Sodium depletes potassium more easily than potassium helps to kick out sodium. So that’s a minimum of 3 months. It took us about 6 months to adapt to the benefits of lowering sodium intake and increased potassium intake. It took another 6 months until accidentally having a high sodium meal no longer set us back. It took us another 6 months to learn that going very low sodium can backfire, as the body will respond and make hormones that retain excess sodium if you go back and eat high-sodium foods again, such as on vacation. So moderate sodium intake is best.
Some people misunderstand us. They claim a no-sodium diet would kill us. We agree. A no-sodium diet is nearly impossible. If you consume no added sodium, regular food will typically give you a diet from 500 to 2000 mg of sodium. Some people eat food that provides up to 13,000 mg of sodium per day! There is no such thing as a no-sodium diet.
They also never read that it can take 6 months to fix the problem, and many people quit in the first couple of days, because they don’t like the symptoms, thinking they have unique biology, when that cannot possibly be the case.
There are many other nutrients on our protocol, which grew out of modifying the high iodine protocol. So iodine and selenium are on our protocol. Iodine helps to detox fluoride, and bromide, lead, mercury, cadmium, arsenic, and aluminum. Iodine also heals the body in 200 different ways that are also problems caused by fluoride toxicity. There are always going to be slanderous testimonials out there from people who have no idea what they are doing, and who didn’t do the reading. Ignore the liars. I’m not doubting that some people have problems taking copper. But in our view, those are normal detoxing problems, and they didn’t do their homework, nor understand the process, and in many cases, they never stopped taking drugs or other things that prevent copper from working.
Our protocol consists of 20 nutrients to take, 30 to avoid, and probably over 70 major decisions. Each decision is controversial because there are people on each side of every debate. And people lie. Getting through all of the debates, well, it’s a lot. But it’s worth it. I hope I have inspired you to look into our protocol and book and group further.
