As Editor of the Silver Stock Report, I occasionally remind my readers of the many fundamental reasons why buying silver bullion is so important, which is the foundation of investing in silver stocks, which may rise in value faster even than silver.

Here are a few of the important reasons to buy silver.

The Silver ETF has invested about $1 billion into silver.
There is probably just over $1 billion in silver remaining in which to invest.
The U.S. Government spends about $2 trillion ($2000 billion!) per year.
The U.S. Bond market is over $20 trillion in size.
By the time a mere $50 billion in paper money moves into silver within one year, the silver price will be astronomically high in terms of dollars and heading up so fast that it will make your head hurt.

The supply and demand for silver are about matched, with very little room for any investment demand at all. The slightest investment demand has already catapulted silver to much higher prices, and investment demand has hardly even begun.

Here is one more reminder of why you need silver and gold; a movie is out now that is promoting gold and silver, and this may actually be responsible for the rise in the gold price this week!

A movie came out this last weekend in ten theaters that is receiving many A+ reviews from Yahoo users. It opened to a standing ovation at the Cannes Film Festival a few months ago.

This movie will be especially loved by gold and silver investors, who have sent me hundreds of emails about it in the past few months.

It’s only out on limited release right now, but making good money for the few theater owners who are showing it New York, Chicago, Kansas, Austin, & Tampa.

The movie is ranked 41st at Yahoo Movies,

It grossed $61,000 in the first weekend’s release, which is not bad for showing in only 10 theaters. I assume that about 6100 people saw the film last weekend (/ $10 ticket), and that each theater (/ 10 theaters) took in about $6100 per theater.

Since I have not seen the film, but only seen the trailers and reviews, I assume that the movie shows Aaron Russo (director of “Trading Places” with Dan Aykroyd and Eddie Murphy) in search of the law that requires Americans to pay an income tax. He cannot find it; and the Government is no help. Aaron shows us that the dollar is fraud, and that the U.S. is heading towards a New World Order, where people will be chipped like animals.

I believe the Bible talks about the chips in Revelation 13, the “mark of the beast”, a subject that I have been preaching about online since 1998. And due to my efforts to get people out of the dollar, and into gold and silver, how could I not support this movie?

Aaron Russo is looking for donations to help get the movie into theaters, having raised now nearly $400,000. When he had raised less than $50,000, I almost invested $100,000 into his project, but before I could do so, I had to see if I could approve of his “call to action”. Unfortunately, I could not do so in good conscience. His call is to oppose world government.

Many Christian preachers also oppose world government. But there is no call in the Bible to oppose world government. Although all kings seem to violate the commandments such as “thou shalt not steal” and they ultimately challenge the king of kings, there is no call to oppose them. The reason is that God has prophesied that world government will come, and we cannot oppose what God will bring about.

In Daniel 4 and Romans 13, we see that God sets up governments among men; God raises up and tears down governments. In Revelation 17-18, we see that a world government is coming, the seventh and eighth beasts, who are controlled by the great harlot.

We are not to oppose governments, nor oppose the great harlot. We can defend ourselves against government tyranny, and preach against government tyranny, but not oppose government.

It’s very important to know who the Great Harlot is if we are to obey the command in Revelation 18:4, “Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.”

I believe that the great harlot is Jerusalem or Israel who rules the kings of the earth (Rev 17:18) through moneylending (Deut 15:6, 28:12), since the borrower is the servant to the lender (Proverbs 22:7). Jerusalem is also described repeatedly as a harlot in the scriptures, as she turns to the kings of the earth for security, instead of to the King of Kings for security (Ezekiel 16:31-34, Ezekiel 23, Isaiah 1:21, Isaiah 57, Jeremiah 2-3 and Hosea 2).

Therefore, to avoid being one of her daughter harlots, we need to avoid doing what she does, which is to lend money at interest. Christians have been neglecting to preach to avoid lending at interest.

Luke 6:32 “If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even ‘sinners’ love those who love them. 33 And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even ‘sinners’ do that. 34 And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even ‘sinners’ lend to ‘sinners,’ expecting to be repaid in full. 35 But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. 36 Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.

Further, to “come out of her”, the great harlot of Revelation 17-18, or avoid serving her, we need to avoid borrowing money.

Also, the dollar is merely a paper promise, a defaulted debt. The dollar is also a broken promise to pay an unjust weight of silver or gold, and thus, the dollar is worse than an abomination. The great harlot is the mother of abominations. Thus, we ought to also avoid dollars.

Therefore, by buying gold and silver, we are obeying the command to avoid being a daughter harlot, and to come out of the great harlot.

I was hoping, therefore, that the call to action in Aaron Russo’s film, America: Freedom to Fascism, would be for people to buy gold and silver–as that truly will solve the vast majority of human economic problems. (I don’t care whether or not he mentions the great harlot.) I would have backed the film if the call to action was to buy silver or gold. But I spoke with Aaron Russo on the phone, and he said he could not include buying gold or silver as the final call to action, since that would be, according to him, “investment advice” or some such nonsense, and besides, the movie already spoke about buying gold and silver in the middle of the film.

I have a feeling that I’ve failed somehow. I have a feeling that this is one reason why Satan succeeds; Christians who agree on so much, still can’t get together to help one another. I may not be able to back the movie financially, but I can tell you about it, and urge you to see it, with the understanding of why I cannot endorse its “call to action”.

I have not seen the film yet, but I look forward to seeing it soon–and I hope that you go see it, too. I also hope that you agree with me that the best call to action, that helps other men the most, is to merely buy gold and silver. Buying gold is not just a literal action, not just an investment action, not only a political action, but also a deeply spiritual action that embraces so many of God’s teachings.

Buying gold and silver is an act of peaceful, righteous, indirect withdrawl of support of all governments that are using paper money.

Revelation 3:14″To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation. 15 I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16 So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. 17 You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. 18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see. 19 Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest, and repent. 20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me. 21 To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I overcame and sat down with my Father on his throne. 22 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
