Minerals and Vitamins We Are Taking

This can be considered an “end stage” of our protocol that requires slowly tapering up on copper, boron, and iodine to get past the difficulties of fluoride detox, and detoxing many other toxins. Start with the Protocol guide here:

We are always experimenting, and these experiments may be temporary, and we may start and stop supplements without notice, or make notice here months after a change. For example, in the last year, we quit selenium for nearly a year, after 9 years on it. Now, with this latest update, we are back on selenium again. This, in part, explains the delay of this update. We did not want to inadvertently not recommend selenium. Nor did we want to recommend selenium while not taking it. But even the original iodine doctors called selenium optional. But it’s all optional. We quit due to brittle fingernails, a symptom of high selenium. We added it back in, because we took a year off.

EXTRA CAUTION. On this FULL PROTOCOL, only taking 10 mg of copper per day, or less, can lead to copper deficiency symptoms due to so many nutrients that may block copper, such as, and especially the zinc, sulfur, and iodine. If you are taking more of those three than we take, you may also need more copper. Therefore, please work up to 20-30 mg of copper, before attempting the full protocol. Furthermore, if you are still taking any drugs that may block copper, or are having specific copper deficiency symptoms, you may need more copper while on the full protocol, such as 40-50 mg, for a few months, due to the copper-antagonizing effects of the full protocol, any drugs or herbs, or extra supplements (niacin), or extra healing needs. People who claim “the protocol does not work” are almost always taking too little copper, and/or too many other things.

In the morning, we drink 1-3 cups of coffee that contain the following ingredients:

(We aim for 2 large cups of coffee daily. In the second cup of coffee, we skip and omit the MSM Sulfur, boron and selenium.)

Potassium Chloride, 1/8th teaspoon, for 377 mg potassium.

Copper Sulfate 15 drops for 15 mg

Potassium Iodide, aka SSKI: 2 drops for 100 mg iodine

Lugol’s iodine at 5% strength: 3 drops for 24 mg iodine

Selenium: 200 mcg, as directed on the bottle. MCG is micrograms. A microgram is 1/1000th of a milligram, or mg. (Only in the first cup of coffee.)

Boron: 1/8 teaspoon of sodium tetraborate for 55 mg. (Only in the first cup of coffee.)

–MSM Sulfur: 1 teaspoon. A teaspoon of MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) contains approximately 4000 mg or 4 grams1However, the sulfur content in 1 teaspoon of MSM is about 340 mg2. Please note that the actual amount can vary depending on the brand and product, so it’s always a good idea to check the label of the specific product you’re using. (Only in the first cup of coffee.)

–we add organic A2 grass fed whole milk to the coffee. Milk is our calcium source.

–We add 2 teaspoons of sugar and cinnamon for flavor. Milk hides the iodine and copper flavors of bitterness and acidity. Cinnamon really hides the boron flavor.

After breakfast/shower:

— Topical Copper: We apply the copper sulfate 1 mg per drop solution all over the skin, head to toe, (not the nipples) about 50-80 mg, about 3 times a week.

Colloidal gold. We are taking 1 teaspoon of COLLOIDAL GOLD. (not the tablespoon recommended). It is the most costly supplement we take.

–Blueberry Concentrate. This is also a good brain and memory booster. Like colloidal gold, it helps to make metallothioneins that are good for detoxing heavy metals, good for the nerves, and good for longevity.

Early day, or near lunch/brunch/breakfast: We are aiming to take these every other day, or more:

–Zinc, 50 mg, if needed due to allergies. If not needed, we skip it at this time, and take it at night.

–Vitamin C (ascorbic acid form): 2000 mg, which we take with our B Vitamins.

–B Vitamins. B1-300 mg, B2-400 mg, B5-500mg, B7-8mg, B12-5000mcg. We are avoiding B6, which can be a nerve toxin. We are also confidently avoiding folate (B9), as it is also a nerve toxin at even lower levels, at 1 mg! We have skipped niacin for the last 1.5 years, and we feel we have no niacin deficiency symptoms.

Molybdenum: 1000 mcg (1 mg)

–Chromium: 200-400 mcg

–Magnesium. 400 mg

–Manganese. 20 mg.

Middle of the Day:

–Creatine Monohydrate, before the gym. As directed. Phosphate is a part of Adenosine Tri Phosphate, or ATP for energy. Creatine is good for the muscles. Phosphate is also good for the bones. We dropped this habit to once or twice a week or so. The Monohydrate form is superior to the phosphate form, and ends up working better due to better absorption.

Potassium Chloride: We are adding additional 1/2 teaspoon potassium chloride during the day to our drinks. Aiming for 3 drink, maximum. Some days we miss taking this. Each 1/2 teaspoon of potassium chloride adds about 1500 mg of potassium. So 3 half teaspoons adds 4500 mg daily.

After Dinner:
Occasionally, a shot glass of milk, with more copper and/or iodine. Followed by a bit of chocolate to chase away the bad taste. Or juice with copper.

Before Bed:

Zinc: 50 mg

–Potassium Chloride: 377 mg, 1/8 teaspoon of “NuSalt”. https://www.nusalt.com/nutritionfacts_packets.html 1 teaspoon is 5.7 grams. Divided by 8, (for 1/8th teaspoon)= .71 grams of potassium chloride. .71g x 530 mg potassium/g = 377 mg.

    1. My wife and I take substantially similar supplements. Most of these are simply minerals. We all need minerals. My wife prefers to take potassium more. I prefer to take chromium more. I prefer to take more copper, but my body size is bigger, and I tend to lift weights more, and I sweat more, and so I tend to get depleted more. That’s about all the differences I notice between us.
